![]() ![]() GameCube owners famously got the chance to play as Link from the Legend of Zelda in Soul Calibur 2 while Xbox players saw Spawn travel back in time as that platform's exclusive crossover character. Scorpion, who found a place in the original Injustice game, finds a bit of kinship in Spawn, as they both are warriors ressurected to do the bidding of evil masters though that doesn't make them friends exactly.Īl Simmons notes that Hanzo has also traveled across dimensions which prompts Scorpion to say "each had its own injustices." Spawn has the final zinger though by stating "maybe that's why my soul still burns." Meanwhile, Raiden got the chance to meet Bruce Wayne in NetherRealm Studios' last game, Injustice 2, where the klassic MK character would appear as a DLC character alongside Sub-Zero. This is of course a reference to good ol' Batman tying back to a couple special one-off comics from 1994 with both Spawn/Batman and Batman-Spawn: War Devil where he and Spawn crossed over into each others worlds to start out as enemies before teaming up to defeat the true villain at hand. Raiden can tell Spawn that he reminds the lightning god of "another dark knight" to which the new DLC character responds that he's an old friend. The first of these to stand out is a little more subtle than the second, but just by a bit. ![]()
